Honey suckle flower tea

Material: equal amount of dry honey suckle flower and green tea.  You can also add mint, orange peel, and licorice.

Usage: Brew the tea in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve.  Add honey as needed.

Effect: Honey suckle flower is used in the Chinese medicine to detoxify the system, clear the inflammation and sores, reduce swelling, regulate and balance the female endocrine system, and moisturize the skin.    

 Lily flower tea

Material: dried lily flower alone, or equal amount of dried lily flower and green tea.  You can also add honey suckle flower.

Usage: Brew the tea in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve. 

Effect: Lily flower is used in the Chinese medicine to ease cough, clear respiratory system infection, nourish lung, reduce anxiety, treat insomnia, and calm central nervous system.

Chrysanthemum flower tea

Material: dried Chrysanthemum flower alone, or equal amount of dried chrysanthemum flower and green tea.  You can also add mulberry leaves, mint, orange peel, Prunella, wolfberry fruit, honeysuckle, and licorice.

Usage: Brew the tea in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve. 

Effect: Chrysanthemum flower is used in the Chinese medicine to ease cold and flu symptom, reduce fever and headache, detoxify the system, clear respiratory system infection, and treat redness in eyes.

Chamomile flower tea

Material: dried Chamomile flower alone, or equal amount of dried Chamomile flower and green tea.  You can also add mulberry leaves, mint, and honeysuckle.

Usage: Brew the tea in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve. 

Effect: Chamomile flower is used in the Chinese medicine to detoxify the system and clear eyes.  The herb is often used in formulations for treating respiratory infection and reducing fever.

Ginseng flower tea

Material: dried Ginseng flower alone, or equal amount of dried Ginseng flower and oolong tea.  You can also add dried peony flower, Rose, dried azaleas, lemon grass, Ganoderma lucidum, lavender, and Goji.

Usage: Brew the tea in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve.  Add brown sugar or honey as needed.

Effect: Ginseng flower is used by the Chinese medicine to boost immune system, strengthen cardiovascular system, soothe the nerves, and clear lungs. The flower is often used in formulations for treating sore throat and other respiratory system infection related symptoms.   

Thyme flower tea

Material: dried Thyme flower alone, or equal amount of dried Thyme flower and oolong or black tea.  You can also add Honeysuckle, Rose, Rosemary, lavender, and Osmanthus.

Usage: Brew the tea in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve.  Add brown sugar or honey as needed.

Effect:  Thyme flower is used in Chinese medicine to treat lung infections, nourish lung, soothe sore throat, easy anxiety, calm central nervous system, and treat insomnia and palpitations.
