Winter sweet flower tea

Material: Dried winter sweet flower alone, or equal amount of dries winter sweet flower and green or white tea.

Usage: Brew the tea in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve.  Add brown sugar or honey as needed.

Effect: Winter sweet flower is used in the Chinese medicine to clear fever, sooth sore throat, stimulate appetite, suppress cough, detoxify the system, and stimulate tissue growth and skin renewal.  The herb is often included in the formulations for treating measles, acute conjunctivitis, stomachache, chest tightness, coughing, and burns.  The herb can be used with bitter mellon, lemon grass, and Ganoderma.

Apple flower tea

Material: Dried apple flower alone, or equal amount of dries apple flower and oolong tea.

Usage: Brew the tea in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve.  Add brown sugar or honey as needed.

Effect: This tea can be used to treat dark spots and pimples and to tune acne-prone skin.  The apple flower is often used in the Chinese medicine for promote skincare, help digestion, detoxify liver, promote blood circulation, and nourish blood.   The herb can be used with rose and orange flower.

Jasmine flower tea

Material: Dried jasmine flower alone, or equal amount of dries jasmine flower and green tea.

Usage: Brew the tea in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve.  Add brown sugar or honey as needed.

Effect: Jasmine flower is believed to have antibacterial, anti-asthmatic, and anti-cancer activity.  The Chinese medicine use this herb to improve blood circulation, nourish spleen and stomach, lower blood pressure, and strengthen cardiovascular system.  The herb can be used together with rose, mint, chamomile, rosemary, marigold, and osmanthus flower.

Roselle flower tea

Material: Dried roselle alone, or equal amount of dries roselle and oolong tea.

Usage: Brew the tea in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve.  Add brown sugar, rock sugar or honey as needed.

Effect: This flower tea is believed to nourish skin, remove dark spots, and is anti-anging.  Roselle herb is used to sooth cough, lower blood lipid level, detoxify, and soften blood vessels.

Lavender flower tea

Material: Dried lavender flower alone, or equal amount of dries lavender flower and oolong tea.

Usage: Brew the tea in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve.

Effect: Chinese medicine believes that lavender can purify mind, relieve stress and anxiety, strengthen immune system, lower blood pressure, and treat insomnia and headache.  The herb can be used with roses, marigolds, sage, chamomile, violet, mint, or jasmine.

Stevia and flower tea

Material: Stevia with other flower tea.

Usage: Brew a few stevia leaves with a flower tea of your choice in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve.

Effect: Stevia is used as a sugar substitute in flower tea.  Chinese medicine believes that stevia can eliminate fatigue, lower blood sugar, nourish level, and stimulate central nervous system. 

Pagoda tree flower bud tea

Material: Dried Pagoda tree flower bud alone, or equal amount of dries Pagoda tree flower bud and green tea.

Usage: Brew the tea in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve.

Effect: Pagoda tree flower bud is a common herb in Chinese medicine.  Chinese medicine believes that the herb is anti-inflammatory and analgesic and can remove heat, cool blood, stop bleeding, lower blood pressure, and strengthens blood vessels.  The herb is often used in the formulations for treating blood in stool, hemorrhoids, blood in the urine, uterine bleeding, nose bleed, diarrhea, red eyes, ulcers, and sores.
