I am a big fan of skin serum. Skin serum is a mixture of oils—and yes, you
can add any oils of your like. Usually,
to make a skin serum, you should have a collection of essentially oils and a
collection of carrier oils.
For mature skin, here are the oils that you should have in
your cabinet:
- Essential oils: frankincense, geranium, ylang ylang, patchouli, sandalwood, sage, clover oil, rosehip oil;
- Carrier oils: avocado, sweet almond, pomegranate, jojoba
Here are the oils that I tend to mix into my skin serum
because I like the scent: orange oil, lemon oil, lavender oil, rose oil and jasmine
oil.
Here is the recipe for the skin serum that I am using
currently. It works wonderfully for
winter season because of its hydration power.
Of course, the oil smell’s divine—I actually use it all over the body. I think you will like it too.
